WAPCOS, A Public Sector Consultancy Organization needs Civil Engineers on contract pay scale basis for our projects located in Herat Province, Afghanistan (Western Afghanistan). Engineers should be experienced in Construction and Design of Civil Structure. Experience in Hydro-Power Projects is desirable. Details of qualification, age and experience as given below:
Addl. Chief Construction /Design Expert
Pay scale Rs.16000-20800 (IDA)*
Age 56 years max. (One Post)
Qualification and experience: Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university with minimum 13 years total experience of which not less than 03 years experience as Dir/Sup. Engr. or equivalent in the grade of Rs.14500-18700 (IDA) or equivelent in the field of Construction/ Design.
Desirable experience – Construction/Design of Hydro Power Projects
Remuneration for Afghanistan:
Foreign Salary – US$ 1330
Per diem allowance – US$ 750
Indian Salary – Rs.16000/- (Pre-revised)
HRA – 30% of Indian Salary
Plus Medical Facility
Dy. Chief Construction/Design Expert
Pay scale Rs.14500-18700 (IDA)*
Age 45 years max. (One Post)
Qualification and experience: Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university with minimum 10 years total experience of which not less than 05 year as Executive Engineer OR equivalent in the grade of Rs.10750 -16750(IDA) OR Equivalent in the field of Construction/ Design.
Desirable experience – Construction/Design of Hydro Power Projects
Remuneration for Afghanistan:
Foreign Salary – US$ 1260
Per diem allowance – US$ 750
Indian Salary – Rs.14500/- (Pre-revised)
HRA – 30% of Indian Salary
Plus Medical Facility
Sr. Construction Engineer (Civil)
Pay scale Rs.10750-16750 (IDA)*
Age 40 year max. (One Post)
Qualification and experience:
Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university with minimum 05 years experience as Assistant Engineer or 04 years experience as Asstt. Executive Engineer or equivalent in the grade of Rs. 8600-14600(IDA) or equivalent in the field of Construction/ Design.
Desirable experience – Construction/Design of Hydro Power Projects
Remuneration for Afghanistan:
Foreign Salary – US$ 1120
Per diem allowance – US$ 750
Indian Salary – Rs.10750/- (Pre-revised)
HRA – 30% of Indian Salary
Plus Medical Facility
*IDA Pay Scales are under upward revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.
In addition the basic pay, IDA as applicable, HRA @ 30% of the basic/Company lease and perks 50% of basic, medical and telephone facility etc. will be provided while posting in India.
The experts appointed on contract are liable to work on other projects in India and abroad as per directions of WAPCOS.
