Walk-in Research Officer

Notification for Walk-In-Interview.
Applications for following positions for the project entitled “Longitudinal Ageing Studies in India (LASI)-Pilot.” are invited.
Position : Research Officer (One each from Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala)
No. of Post : Four
Essential Qualification : Masters’ degree in Population Studies / Social Sciences / Health Sciences/Mathematics, Statistics and Econometrics with two year experience or MPS/MPhil in with one year experience of working in Demographic and Health related research project.
Desirable :Experience in analysing Census and large scale Demographic and Health survey data and experience in project report preparation.
Advanced proficiency in the use of excel and statistical software packages STATA, SPSS etc.
Salary : Rs 16,500/- (Consolidated)
Duration : 3 Months
Candidates qualifying the above criteria may attend the Walk-In-Interview on 23rd August 2010 at 3.00 pm. along with CV & other original documents in support of their qualifications and experience.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
