Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) will fill up about 8 (subject to variation depending on the availability of vacancies) backlog vacancies of JTOs reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) through an open competitive examination likely to be held in November/December, 2010 (exact date and time of examination and examination centre will be intimated to the applicants in due course of time) as per the details given below:
JTO (Telecom):
Number of vacancies:PWD (LI)-1, PWD(HI)-5. Total – 6
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Radio/ Computer/ Electrical/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation).
JTO (Electrical): Total – 2
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical)

Scale of Pay
The Junior Telecom Officer shall be appointed in the IDA pay scale of Rs 16400-40500 with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc. as admissible as per company rules.
